Guttmann Barcelona Life is a social facility formed by a set of fully adapted and automatized apartments. In addition, the initiative has a complementary portfolio of personal and support services especially aimed at promoting personal autonomy.
Guttmann Barcelona Life is an initiative of the Institut Guttmann designed to promote the autonomy and quality of life of people with disabilities. The aim is for them to be able to develop an independent life project in an active and inclusive way and with their own lifestyle.
This project began in February 2019 with the offer of 12 apartments that were increased to 26 during the year. The capacity of Guttmann Barcelona Life apartments can reach 40, which will be put into operation gradually. In 2019, a total of 28 users have enjoyed this service and this has represented an average occupation of 69%.
